European piano masterclass

Marika Wasikiewicz, along with five other Yamaha students from across Europe, was invited recently to participate in a piano masterclass in Vienna.

Eloïse Bella Kohn - pianiste was the master, expertly guiding the students towards finer performances of their chosen repertoire. What an opportunity for Marika and the other talented Yamaha Music School young pianists!

Marika graduated from the Yamaha Music Education System just over two years ago and now continues her piano studies with Anthony Bracey with us.

Marika’s comments:

“It was a unique opportunity that I really enjoyed and gained a lot of knowledge from. I learnt a lot in great detail about how to play more effectively and how to subtly change the mood of a piece.”
