Yamaha Music School
Our Yamaha Music School at Matrix Arts Centre was established in 1989. The Yamaha Music Education System offers a set of creative and engaging music courses with playing the piano at the centre of the learning, carefully designed for each stage of development. Learning in groups is at the heart of this comprehensive system of music education.
Children join the entry courses between the ages of 2 and 7 and can then continue onto the extension courses. Scroll to the bottom of this page to discover some lovely videos from students who have completed the whole pathway and are now in higher education or working.
